I am a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor in Matwork, Reformer, Stability Chair and Barrels. I am also qualified Zen-GA, Halo, and Total Barre instructor.
I began practicing Pilates in 2008 and started instructor training in 2012. Pilates training increased my strength, flexibility and allowed me to recover more quickly from injuries.
I have lived in New Bern almost all of my life. When I not at the studio, I love being with my family, reading a book or going on an adventure!
One of my greatest joys was watching my mentor use Pilates to work with my dad through his declining health. I believe it helped keep him keep healthy as his disease progressed. Seeing how Pilates helped my dad as well as me in life, I decided to become a teacher.
I have used my knowledge and training to help my clients recovery from injures, discover new abilities about themselves, and regain joy and confidence in their lives because they are moving and feeling better.
There is nothing better than working with clients on their fitness journey!
